Wendy Shearer was commissioned by The Florence Nightingale Museum, to write and tell the inspiring life story of British-Jamaican Mary Seacole at the launch of their new exhibition during Black History Month. Wendy reseached and created a story which she told for families during the day and exclusively for an evening event for The Mary Seacole Trust.
