William Morris Gallery

Today we celebrated the opening of the new exhibition at the William Morris Gallery, The Legend of King Arthur: A Pre-Raphaelite Love Story. We were in a beautiful storytelling lounge where we told African and Caribbean folktales, myths and legends. My beautiful tent was covered in folklore with characters from a variety of cultures including some who are featured in my books: Mama d’leau, Anansi, Papa Bois, Kings & Queens. 📚

My book of Caribbean Folktales, stories from the islands and the Windrush Generation was sitting proudly amongst the gallery’s library of books on mythology and legends, available for people to enjoy. It was wonderful to speak with young adults who are aspiring authors that came to hear my tales and share their love for my book and storytelling!

Copies of Caribbean Folktales, stories from the islands and the Windrush Generation with cover illustration by Jenna Catton is available from book shops. Here’s a few: https://lnk.to/CaribbeanFolkTales
