Recording my stories for the Story Museum

I stepped into the world of stories today at the Story Museum with their wonderful collection of oral, written and illustrated stories. They have huge collections dedicated to authors such as C.S.Lewis and Malorie Blackman who is a patron.

The museum is recording me telling some of my stories for their audio archive of 1001 stories! It’s so exciting to contribute to the plethora of tales from around the world and I’ve been invited to consult on their Caribbean collection of stories, based on how I approached researching and writing stories for my books.

I absolutely love this museum space. I’ve stepped through the giant wardrobe into Narnia and genuinely been spooked in Philip Pullman’s section dedicated to his Subtle Knife fantasy tale. I’ll be coming back on April 22nd to tell stories as part of their Earth Day event which you can buy tickets for here.
