I visited Kidbrooke Park School for World Book Day and received such a lovely welcome from pupils and staff. We celebrated our love for stories and everyone helped to bring my tales to life by joining in with ‘call and response’, sharing their creative ideas and sometimes acting out a part.
The stories? I told tales from African legends of ancient Kings, lands steeped in gold, hunters who learn the secret art of shape-shifting and clever tricksters who outwit Death. 📚
It was a fabulous day of book signing, storytelling and being treated to delicious snacks. 😋 Thank you Kidbrooke Park School for having me as your guest Author and Storyeller.
