I had such a wonderful time at the Great Exhibition Road Festival this weekend! Nearly 300 people crowded round to hear my stories which carried us across the Caribbean sea to meet shape-shifting mermaids and climb guava trees.
Thanks to everyone who joined me at the V & A during the day on Saturday for Windrush stories and then at the Prince’s Gardens in the afternoon. The rain held out for us on the Sunday with just enough time to enjoy stories, music and science experiments!
Thank you to everyone who came and listened to my stories over the weekend. It was lovely to see such a multi generational and diverse crowd. 🥰
