As Westminster Abbey prepares to host the annual Commonwealth Day Service, Wendy Shearer will be taking part in the Commonwealth Festival celebration day with family storytelling and a series of talks for adults about the role of storytelling within the African and Caribbean Diaspora.

Join Wendy Shearer in Poet’s Corner for a short talk as she explores the role of storytelling within the African and Caribbean diaspora, looking at how stories have transformed and migrated with people she has met through her work as a Storyteller, Oral Historian and Author. Wendy will be speaking at 11:30am and 12:30pm in Poets’ Corner.
