Wendy Shearer performing Greek myths from Homer’s ‘Iliad’ and ‘The Odyssey’. There were over 200 people attending each day during half term to listen and join in with her storytelling at The British Museum. These sessions were part of the ‘Troy: Myth or Reality’ exhibition.
A wonderful day of storytelling with Nursery classes right through to Year 4 for Grazebrook Primary School’s Festival of Reading and Stories.
It was a wonderful evening listening to the debut performance of Baden Prince Jr tell Caribbean folktales. Sef Townsend hosted the night and took a few stories from the floor. Wendy shared one of her favourite folktales which tells of our harmony with nature and the earth, to a warm storytelling crowd!
