Yesterday I presented my new book Spooky Stories of the World at Battersea Bookshop. Thank you to everyone who came along and the lovely Battersea Bookshop team who were so welcoming. Their shop is so lovely and huge, we lifted our voices to the rooftop with spooky goings on from my book of Spooky Stories of the World.
After a mini quiz on which spooky creatures they know, I shared how to get away from an Haitian Zombie (basically just run!) and how to appease a Nifoloa from Samoa (leave them delicious fruits 😋). I also read the story of Hoichi The Earless, a terrifying tale from Japan!
