Storytelling at the Society of Antiquaries

Yesterday I conjured up a few chants for my stories of Carribean spirits and shapeshifters. It was the first family fun day event for the Society of Antiquaries and they invited me to tell stories in the day and the evening.

We broke the eerie silence of the room with our loud chants and spells! In the evening we had a fabulous time discovering witches, ghouls and ghosts at the Society’s Phantasmagoria evening.

I told stories of La Diablessse – Caribbean witch from Martinique. Some terrors lurk right beside us during the day… 😱 Thank you to everyone who came, listened and joined in. It was wonderful to meet members and gaze in awe at 17th century collections.Â
