Bringing storytelling to the city! Here I am with some members of Moody’s Black Impact Group. They put on an event for their members celebrating Black History.
There were the magical sounds from Angelica on the Steel drums, rum punch, plenty of Caribbean food and me telling the true story of Gordon Benn – professional Steel pan player from Southampton by way of St Vincent who came during the Windrush years. We ended on a lively Anansi story.
