Stories from Egypt

During October Half term 2025 there will be a special storytelling event at the Young V&A for families to mark the end of the ‘Making Egypt’ exhibition which closes on 2nd November 2025.

Wendy Shearer tells a tale introducing the ancient Egyptian creation myths, featuring some of the well-known Egyptian gods and goddesses from the Making Egypt exhibition. Join in their clever tricks and crafty curses with music and colourful props. 

Times: 13.30, 14.30 & 15.30 and last for 20 minutes
