I had a busy week with school visits to Dulwich Prep and others celebrating Black History Month. It was an absolute pleasure to sign school library copies of my book African and Caribbean Folktales, Myths and Legends.
After joining in my storytelling sessions and hearing me read from my collections, the School Librarian said she was inundated with requests from pupils wanting to borrow Caribbean Folktales: stories from the islands and the Windrush Generation & Spooky Stories of the World.
I feel so happy to be getting children excited about stories, storytelling and books!
